# Discord

> Connect your Discord server to ShareThat to enable more functionality.

## Add Discord Bot

You can add the bot to your server with [this link](https://discord.com/oauth2/authorize?client_id=1218762448799141988\&permissions=277025508416\&scope=bot) or by visiting the [Settings page](https://app.sharethat.co/creators/settings/discord).

## Connect Discord Server

    After the ShareThat Discord bot is in your server, navigate to the [Settings page](app.sharethat.co/creators/settings/discord) and click the **Connect server** button.

  <Step title="Generate key">
    You will need to generate a key. This will be used in the next step to help us connect your Discord server to your ShareThat group.

  <Step title="Run /connect command in Discord">
    On Discord, use the /connect command with the key that you just generated. You will see a success message when your server has successfully connected to ShareThat.

## Using Discord Bot
