# Getting Started

## Setup Your Account

    Go to [https://app.sharethat.co](https://app.sharethat.co) and sign up as a creator. You can sign up with an email and password or an existing Google or Discord account.

  <Step title="Connect a payment method">
    Follow the steps outlined in [Payments](/brands/payments).

    <Warning>Your group will remain private and no one will be able to join or submit until you have connected a payment method.</Warning>

  <Step title="Customize your group profile">
    Go to [https://app.sharethat.co/creators/settings/profile](https://app.sharethat.co/creators/settings/profile).

    <AccordionGroup>
      <Accordion title="Username">
        Add a username. This name shows on the marketplace.
      </Accordion>

      <Accordion title="Visibility">
        Visibility determines whether or not your group is public on the marketplace.

        * **Public:** People can see your group and join via the marketplace.
        * **Unlisted:** People can't see your group on the marketplace but can join through your share link.
        * **Private:** People can't see your group on the marketplace or join through your link.

        Recommended dimensions: `800 x 800`.

      <Accordion title="Thumbnail">
        Recommended dimensions: `1500 x 500`.
      </Accordion>

  <Step title="Join the marketplace">
    Change the **Visibility** setting to `Public`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite people to your group">
    In the upper right-hand corner, click **Profile**. Copy and share the link to invite people to your group.
